Mrs. Sweetās Teen Issues classes used board games to work on communication, critical thinking, and spatial reading skills in the library today.
Mrs. Gerkenās students are preparing for their ELA I state tests, which start next week! They are involved in a week-long review competition. Today they completed an Escape Room to review elements of non-fiction. Everyone escaped the room in time!

Mrs. Zachrichās smart cookies for Quarter 3 celebrated with a pizza party today!
The Varsity Baseball game scheduled for Friday, April 5th at Edon has been CANCELLED.

The cap and lid drive is off to a great start! In just our first few days we collected 10.7 pounds. The House standings are: AmitiƩ 1.7 lbs, Coragem 3.2 lbs, Esemplare 3.1 lbs, Setia 2.7 lbs.
The Hicksville Science Club had a great field trip yesterday after school! We were able to transplant a native pollinator plant, Black-eyed Susans. Thank you Strait Gate Greenhouse!
The Hicksville Science Club is excited to announce our plastic cap and lid drive! We are hoping to collect enough plastic lids/caps to create a recycled plastic bench or table for Hicksville parks. House containers are located in the Commons, LMC, and some classrooms.

The students celebrated pie day yesterday in Mrs. Zachrichās classroom. They used pie in the face to review factoring polynomials in Algebra or volume in Pre-Algebra.
