The CCP University of Toledo Composition One students spent time at UT today, learning how to navigate a university library, and generally enjoyed their time on campus with Adjunct Professor, Mr. Gahagan, and School Librarian, Mrs. Hoffman. What a great group of students!

The high school boys basketball scrimmage scheduled for tonight at Defiance has been postponed. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 17th at 1:00PM.

Members of the Hicksville Science Club bundled up to dig for fossils at the Paulding County Community Fossil Garden. Thank you to the wonderful parents who joined us today and Mr. Greg Slattery for driving us to our event!

Parents/Guardians, On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 Hicksville Exempted Village Schools will conduct a state mandated school safety drill with the Hicksville PD and Defiance County Sheriff’s Department. Thank you.

Congratulations to MAKAYLA and TIFFANY! Tiffany placed 32nd, and Makayla placed 44th at today’s STATE CROSS COUNTRY MEET! Way to go, ladies. We are so proud of you! Congrats to the girls and the coaches!

Congratulations to Mrs. Zachrich’s “smart cookies” for the first quarter. They received an 85% or higher on their test.

Thanks for always having a smile and a positive attitude, Brandon. *A shout-out to Alli Steury for being such a great leader in yearbook class. Alli is very helpful to all her peers and helps keep the class running smoothly. She volunteers to help during her study hall to complete any tasks she sees that needs done. Thanks for being her right hand, Alli! *A shout-out to the JV Academic Team, who went undefeated in regular season play, and placed second in the Williams County League Tournament on Tuesday. Great job, Team! *A shout-out to Mrs. Hoffman! She is a great help for our students on a daily basis, and she is a great friend, as well. She is always there with a smile and does her very best to help in any way she can. Thanks for making research projects a much less stressful process! Mrs. Geiger would like to give a shout-out to Josiah Ankney for finding German Christmas cookies at the store and bringing them in to share with the class. Your thoughtfulness and generosity were much appreciated. Mrs. Geiger would also like to give a chocolatey thank you to Alpatha Coleman for bringing her snacks. :) Mrs. Blue would like to give a shout-out to Becca Foss for taking time out of her day to clean up the Supervised Study kitchen area.
